Pittsburgh, PA (September 16, 2009)  --- NOVA Chemicals today announced a leadership transition to support the next stage of Elemix® additive’s growth strategy.

Todd Becker has assumed leadership of the Elemix concrete additive business succeeding Debra vanHolst who will become Global Business Director, Polyethylene for NOVA Chemicals. 

Todd will direct the business as it enters a strong expansion phase working from the solid foundation created by Debra.

“It is with great pleasure that I welcome Todd into the Elemix additive business.  Todd’s proven experience developing building and construction businesses  coupled with his knowledge of sustainable building practices as a LEED® certified practitioner will be of great value to our product and customers,” stated Tony Torres, Vice President Ventures and Building and Construction. 

Torres added, “We now look to Todd to take the Elemix business to the next level, focusing on global growth.”
